Abstract

I examined the messages about women in the Disney movies Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, setting them in historical context based on the date the movie was released. I explored the messages about beauty, relationships of women with other women, and relationships of women with men. I conclude with a Feminist Fairy Tale that I wrote using the characters and setting from Cinderella.
