Abstract
Beginning with the history of pornography, this capstone research paper explores the ways pornography has become the hard-core sex industry that it is today. This paper illuminates the ways pop culture and advertising have appropriated ideals from the porn industry and the adverse affects these ideals have on men, women and youth.
