Abstract

The research was conducted among sixty-one immigrant students attending CSUMB. Participants were asked to answer a survey questionnaire as means to identify the students' GPA, challenges, discrimination, and attitudes and perceptions towards education. The concept of voluntary minorities (immigrants) from the Cultural Ecological Theory developed by John Ogbu was applied to this research.
