Abstract
Adults with Down syndrome are at higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease in their 40s to 50s, which is nearly 20 years earlier than the general population. My project was an assessment tool that would track any possible AD symptoms and cognitive decline to act earlier and seek medical treatment.
