Abstract

The SURVIVOR Program is a workshop program aimed at empowering women with the information and resources necessary to achieve and maintain lives free from violence. The workshop topics have been determined through academic research, anecdotal evidence, and domestic violence counselor training, and are: safety planning, understanding violence, restraining order/CPO modification, victim rights and compensation, counseling, visitation, divorce, and custody, and financial literacy.
