Abstract
The purpose of this creative project was to create a reporter show reel that demonstrations social justice, in action, in Monterey County. Four marginalized groups were featured; African-Americans, underpaid CSU faculty, service dogs, and women undergoing domestic violence. Using the reporting skill-set I learned in the Journalism and Media Studies concentration, I was able to research and produce a montage of scenes aimed at presenting events in the community, organizations, and current news in which plans circulating fixing the societal problem of oppression was in the works.
