Abstract

This project focuses on bringing awareness among educators on the issues concerning schooling elementary (k- 5) students with physical disabilities. This is achieved through the creation of a friendly workshop, where educators are presented with information on understanding their students' unique needs and how to help them succeed inside the classroom. The workshop contains five different components: a presentation, informative video, instructional activities, and discussions, along with two surveys. Furthermore, each aspect of the workshop inserts other educators' opinions throughout the entire presentation. In other words, educators are able to learn from each other rather than just listening to the information on the presentation.
