The Fort Ord Digital Collection features content pertaining to the history of Fort Ord, a former United States Army base located on the Monterey Peninsula. Prior to its closing in 1994, Ford Ord served primarily as a training facility for new recruits, a function that many of the items in the Fort Ord Digital Collection document.

The collection currently includes yearbooks dating from 1952 to 1975, as well as a variety of images, including postcards, schematics, and photographs of murals painted by soldiers.
