Photograph of mural in Bldg. 4440, 1st floor, east end, north wall, 42.5" x 43" high. This is the 9th Infantry Regiment Unit Insignia. The insignia was first approved to wear as a belt buckle in 1925; later the emblem was approved for a distinctive unit insignia in 1954. Keep Up the Fire is the unit motto.
