Abstract

In this paper I focus on the affects of sex education on adolescent sexuality from 1910 until 1940. Using Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Model of Human Development, I examine how different levels of society changed sex education and the adolescent experience. I analyze texts, movies, and theories of the early 20th century to find that sex education’s had no specific affect on the adolescent experience from 1910 until 1940.
