Abstract

There is a lack of nutrition education in preschool curriculum. Children are not being taught about the importance of consuming healthier foods. When children are taught about nutrition, they will be able to choose positive eating habits and less chance of having health complications. To address the lack of nutrition education for preschoolers, I will conduct a three-day lesson to increase the awareness of nutrition for preschool children at Teddy Bear Preschool in Monterey, California.
