Abstract
This research paper involves finding the similarities and differences between Jazz and Hip-Hop music forms in order to create mutual understanding and appreciation. More specifically, this investigation focuses its comparison on basic musical elements related to melody, harmony, and rhythm. These findings will hopefully incite cultural and artistic integration for the public, music profession, and music academia, by conveying valuable information and insight in contextual ways.
