Abstract

This brochure was created to fill the need of students, teachers and visitors to Mission San Juan Bautista with a deeper, broader history of the indigenous inhabitants of the area, the Amah Mutsun. Further, it dispels the notion that the Mutsun and their language are extinct by addressing the current activities of the tribal band as they pertain to this rich native culture.
