Abstract
How is technology effecting sustainable development? To answer this question, Goodlaw takes a step back into history to establish a context, and define what technology is and to give an idea of what the general effects of technology are. The essay offers basic definitions to frame the discussion on sustainable development and provides examples of how specific technologies are affecting specific areas of sustainable development.
