Abstract
This article presents the results of field research conducted as part of the 10 Year Planning Project for the City of Santa Rosa Jauregui. The document considers basic elements providing a general vision of the transformation of Santa Rosa from a rural to an urban center. The city of Santa Rosa is located in the state of Querétaro, 300 kilometers north from Mexico City. This article is part of the ongoing collaboration between the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, and California State University, Monterey Bay.
