Description

Injustices where not only seen within the farm workers movement, they were seen across industries. President Arnold Miller of United Mine Workers union describes the tragedies that occured in the coal mines and how they fought for better labor contracts and overturned the corrupt leadership. The following article focuses on the United States bombing of Vietnam led by President Nixon. It states that the United States bombed northern Vietnam provinces for four consecutive days. That location consisted of a prisoner of war camp, which held United States soldiers. To the right are letters from Cesar Chavez and Cardinal John Karl denouncing the horrifying tragedies that the United States government inflict on Vietnamese people.
