The article explains that in 1970 the Administration of Justice in the Southwest documented most of the inhuman and unjust treatment that Chicanos, Mexican_Ameicans and Latinx/Hispanic individuals faced at the hands of police. The discrimination that folks faced in the 1970s has not been eradicated. BIPOC individuals continue to face the same level of discrimination and harassment to this day.
