Abstract

This project consisted of a Pedometer Program designed to increase the activity levels for students at MacQuiddy Elementary School of Watsonville city. Students were given a pedometer, exercise log at the beginning of the program and a post test. School teachers were interviewed to assess the effectiveness of the program. Based on observations, data collected and literature review students were provided with recommendations on how to keep themselves active in school and after school.
