Abstract
This creative project exhibits moments in the progression of American freedom through short stories. African Americans who sought identity during the Harlem Renaissance and the Japanese Americans who lost all American rights during internment shape the stories allowing the reader to walk in the shoes of those who struggled to breathe free.
