Abstract
There has been a high variance of wage gap between genders and ethnicity. Goodwill Central Coast is a non-profit organization that provides services to the community, such as job training, CalWorks assistance and job placements. They are also known for their retail thrift store. Goodwill is an organization that wants to end the wage gap between genders. The project involves looking into their wage data, analyzing and searching for any wage gaps. The result of this research will help Goodwill reduce or eliminate any wage gaps in their organization. It is expected to find minimal reports of wage gaps due to the yearly payroll adjustments of the organization. This will be analyzed through research, Excel data, Goodwill’s pay rate data from 2019-2020 through compare and contrast methods. This project concentrated on finding any difference of pay rate between genders and ethnicities. The wage data analysis was a success, there is no gender and ethnicity wage gap in Goodwill’s retail stores. It is recommended that Goodwill continues with this research yearly to continue to have these great results.
