Abstract
For this Capstone Project, the researchers investigated how teachers’ annual salary affects their teaching and what teachers think could be done to improve it. Several teachers were interviewed about how their pay influences their work with students. The researchers were able to gain insight into the teachers’ personal views that reflect their ideal pay range and the amount of work they put in. Researchers were able to recognize how schools are distributing supplies to the teachers that are being incorporated into lessons. Based on an analysis of the data and the relevant research literature, the researchers used what they have learned to formulate a plan of action that responds to teachers' educational practices in a way that inspires, informs, or involves a particular audience. The researchers’ goal was to use their findings to support teachers. Increasing teachers’ salaries may increase the quality of teaching, assuring that more students will thrive and evolve.
