Abstract
Many college students may lack well-developed interpersonal skills and may not yet have cultivated their emotional intelligence. Without developing skills surrounding emotional intelligence, college students may be hindered in the quality of their relationships as well as limited in their emotional connection. When they develop their relationship skills, they are able to foster their emotional growth and have more successful relationships. In order to address this issue, I have created a workshop for freshman college students at California State University, Monterey Bay in Seaside, California.
