Abstract

Cyberbullying can significantly impact students, including those in 7th grade; some ways that cyber bullying can affect 7th-grade students include emotional distress, academic problems, and self-esteem issues (Campbell, 2016). Because of the adverse effects of cyberbullying on young adolescents, there is a need for services that teach young people about the dangers and consequences of cyberbullying and how to recognize and respond to it. Therefore, I have created a one-day lesson addressing cyberbullying with 7th grade at Los Arboles middle school in Marina, California.
