Abstract
Social Media has many positive effects but can also have many negative effects. Social Media is targeted more towards a younger audience. With social media being targeted to a younger audience, this can also affect their language and communication skills as well as their mental health. The purpose of this paper is to look at the effects social media can have with regards to language and communication. The paper also highlight mental health and how language, communication and mental health are connected.
