Abstract
This senior capstone examines the vital role of physical education in schools, highlighting its profound impact on students' academic success and overall well-being. Despite its importance, many districts have recently reduced physical education programs, negatively affecting students' well-being and academic performance, particularly in elementary schools. This study aims to demonstrate the necessity of physical education in elementary schools for facilitating students' well-being and academic achievement through a comprehensive review of existing literature and interviews.
