Abstract

Public elementary schools are valuable institutions in any given society or a community. Students attend school a few days a week to learn/educate themselves and to be able to create a sustainable future for themselves. With any great school system, there exists quality education for all students. Quality education may look different to everyone, but it usually consists of factors, such as providing a foundation for equity in society, allowing sustainable development goals (SDGs) to be achieved, and breaking cycles of poverty, which are ultimately a basic human right. By having access to high-quality education, students are able to learn crucial life skills as they make their transition from children to adulthood and beyond. It gives students a sense of community and responsibility from a young age which becomes more refined and brings maturity as time goes on. These are the reasons why it is important for all students to have access to high quality education. In addition, a high-quality resource is also provided hand in hand along with high quality of education. Through the use of literature review and surveys with teachers and school districts, the result findings indicated that resource allocation is a key factor towards positive student outcomes and determines the success of each individual student. to bring about quality education for students. This senior capstone research project intends to educate students, teachers, administrators, families, and researchers about the crucial role of allocating the proper resources in schools for students’ academic success.
