Abstract

This capstone project focuses on hosting and facilitating a free, Spanish-speaking support group for Latine individuals in Monterey County with the goal of creating a safe space for open conversation. The project aims to bring people together, encourage discussion around shared experiences, and provide emotional support in a culturally understanding environment. Overall, the event aimed to establish a starting point, an entry into an ongoing process of reflection, connection, and healing, while also helping individuals feel heard, supported, and more connected to their community.
