Abstract
The topic that I chose to research and write about is the process by which privately traded foreign companies journey to the United States and become publically traded, along with the effects that this has on the countries involved. My impression is that for the most part when private companies from overseas become public in the United States stock market and vise versa, it has positive effects for both countries involved. This is globally significant in the fact that there is positive and negative effects for the countries involved, however the trend is increasingly positive in globalization.
