Abstract
Cultural appropriation in the current globalized world is inevitable. These are visible in daily life from the foods we eat to the languages we speak. Cultural exchanges have always taken place, but the frequency with which they now occur has increased with technological advances as they have facilitated the interconnectedness of the world. One way in which cultural exchanges become visible is in the clothes we buy and wear. The clothing industry has a long history of exhibiting cross-cultural influences in a very visible way through clothing.
