Abstract
The primary purpose of this project is to provide assistance with assigned duties for future interns and volunteers to provide efficiency in the office. The manual will be implemented at the Monterey District Attorney’s Office at their Monterey location. The Policy and Procedure Manual for Volunteers and Interns contains important information that will show step-by-step procedures on programs. As new interns and volunteers come into the District Attorney’s office they will be provided with the manual. The unit supervisor or the student’s mentor will discuss the responsibilities and duties, which are also provided in the manual. In certain situations an intern may become confused with their task. The technology manual will provide both videos and word documents that will facilitate the process. Their mentor may not be at the office that day and now they will have to ask someone else for help. With this capstone project the intern or volunteer will less likely need to ask for help. The manual will be accessible for each intern to review on the drive and there will also be a binder with the information.
