Abstract

Many adults who have an intellectual disability lack communication skills. Not being able to communicate appropriately with others may lead to frustration, stress, and even social isolation. Therefore, I have created a 60-minute lesson about communication strategies to adults with an intellectual disability who receive services at Social Vocational Services in Hollister, California.
