Abstract
As technology advances, the range of media will also continue to grow. Every generation has witnessed the growth of media since the day they were born. This generation’s youth needs to comprehend the reasoning for media literacy. Critical and analytical thinking are fundamental tools to allow the ability to differentiate reliable media sources from the unreliable. The hope for the future is for media literacy to be taught in educational institutions across the country, not just colleges.
