Abstract
My project is about how media violence affects young children. I discussed in my project how children may become desensitized to the effects of media violence. Children may need an increase in explicit violence in order to feel engaged with the program they are viewing. I also talked about how children under the age of eight may have difficulty differentiating between fantasy and reality while watching television. My project also discussed the topic of if the violence we view on television is a direct representation of a society that promotes violence.
