Abstract

The Visiting Nurse Association, Community Service Inc. is a private non-profit agency that has been organizing School Based Flu Clinics that provide flu vaccines at no cost to Monterey County recipients. For my senior project, I evaluated the School Based Flu Clinics of 2011 to measure the level of community outreach for the different schools participating in the program in order to make recommendations for improvement. The results from the evaluation were inconclusive however the recommendations developed were accepted by the agency to implement for the School Based Flu Clinics in 2012.
