Abstract
The incidence of childhood obesity has been growing and school lunches may have something to do with it. Responding to this issue is of great importance because this disease is a direct menace to children’s health. In most cases, obesity leads to other health threatening diseases which are harder to cure. Through this project, six children were interviewed in order to see if the recent changes to school lunches were actually beneficial to children’s health. The data gathered shows that there needs to be more improvement in the lunch menus in order for children’s health to benefit from the food being offered. As a result of this project, children were able to understand that the food choices they make can have a great impact on their health in the future.
