Abstract
Many service learners and California Mini-Corps students render service at Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary School in Salinas. This school receives a high number of English Language Learners each year. The author has developed a supplemental packet that will help CSUMB and California Mini-Corps students work with ELLs. Many teachers do not have the time to specifically attend to ELLs. This packet will allow the teacher, elementary student, and the university student to work amongst each other with ease. The author has collected curriculum from various resources within Virginia Rocca Barton Elementary School and put together instructions of how to go about the material. Teachers, future teachers, and elementary students working together is the goal for this project.
