Abstract
Currently, teachers and staff desire to have nutrition education incorporated into the classroom curriculum. However, teachers are too preoccupied with the demands of state testing that they do not have the time to become aware of nutrition education programs that could be effectively integrated into their classroom curriculum. Therefore, the author of this project researched and identified a nutrition education program that integrates core subjects into the curriculum. Additionally, the author assisted in the implementation of the Dairy Council of California curriculum in a kindergarten class. Furthermore, the author benefited the entire school by arranging an assembly for the Mobile Dairy Classroom to come and give a lesson.
