En la década de 1970 hubo numerosos esfuerzos en los Estados Unidos e internacionalmente para mejorar las condiciones laborales de las personas pobres y de clase trabajadora. Los artículos en la parte superior se enfocan en los esfuerzos y eventos que tuvieron lugar en Illinois, Nueva York y Washington D.C. No solo se enfocan en la opresión de los trabajadores sino también en la opresión que Estados Unidos estaba causando en Vietnam. Los artículos que siguen se enfocan en eventos que tuvieron lugar a bordo en América Latina. Se enfocan en el fin de Vietnam, los esfuerzos del pueblo chileno para crear programas que los ayuden con la inseguridad alimentaria, y hay un pequeño párrafo enfocado en la esclavitud de los trabajadores a bordo. (Eng): In the 1970s there were numerous efforts throughout the United States and internationally to improve the working condition of poor and working class individuals. The articles at the top focuses on efforts and events that took place in Illinois, New York, and Washington D.C. They focused on workers oppression and the oppression that the United States was causing in Vietnam. The articles that follow focus on events that took place aboard in Latin America. They focus on the end of Vietnam, the efforts of Chilean people to create programs to help them with food insecurities, and there is a small paragraph focused on workers enslavement aboard.
