This collection is primarily composed of materials amassed by water conservationist Bill “Woody” Woodworth, during his more than thirty years of public advocacy, from the 1970s through 2002. Materials include reports, clippings, publications, and subject files, predominantly related to Woodworth's research on water use and conservation on the Monterey Peninsula and his work as a board member of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District (1978-1983). Also included are materials related to reuse planning of the former Fort Ord military base (1990-2002).
