Description
Part of a three-hour telethon broadcast from KSBW in Salinas, California in support of Richard Nixon’s campaign for the Governor of California. During the program Nixon answers questions that have been submitted by voters regarding his position on various topics, including capital punishment, organized labor, taxes, and the Francis Amendment, a proposal that would prohibit communist activities in California. Viewers are encouraged to call into the station to pledge donations for Nixon’s campaign or to mail in contributions.
