Description
This document is a preliminary report intended to tentatively identify privatization opportunities within the context of the current Space Station Program structure (later called the International Space Station - ISS). In addition, this report suggests a model under which more extensive privatization may take place. The alternative model should also be examined for the possibility of substantial cost reduction possibilities. [Note- many of these suggestions came to pass in subsequent years; JPL project manager was Dr. Jeff Smith. Research and authorship by Robert Danziger. Probably presented in 1987, although date is uncertain. JPL Contract number 871842.]
