Description
This piece, like much of my portraiture, is inspired by Fauvist and Impressionist color schemes. Alysse is a portrait of my childhood best friend. Meant to capture a moment in time, I wanted to encapsulate a visual impression of a memory. I wanted to pour warmth into this painting.
