Abstract
Analyzes the historical context (1933-1945 Germany) of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's ethic of responsible life--applies responsible living to post-911 U.S., especially in response to the USA Patriot Act--offers several objections to Bonhoeffer's ethic--concludes with a call to consciousness and actively promoting human rights through multicultural education.
