Abstract
My capstone critically examines the lifestyle of the military family - the frequent moves, the isolation from family and close friends, the long deployments, family separations, and combat training - the way military families live under a set of rules and regulations that is foreign to a civilian couple - to determine why domestic violence within the military family occurs more often than in a civilian family.
