Abstract
This paper addresses the importance of including social-emotional and friendship-making skills in preschool children curriculum planning. Through social interactions and observations, children could learn different social skills that they can incorporate into their lives. Children who have not to jet developed social-emotional skills can have difficulty making friendships, lack social competence, and develop aggressive behaviors. If children are able to develop those skills they might be more able to create positive relationships with others.
