Abstract
Impact launch is a collective of experienced practitioners and social impact professionals who work to support individuals, teams, and collaboratives to create equitable and sustainable outcomes. This program has shown success in over 900 program alumni to date. The RTL framework on which the program is founded has been proven effective with change-makers at all levels within an organization in all sectors. Since the Radical Transformational Leadership’s (RTL) first training in the United States over a decade ago, there has been a growing interest among LatinX participants. While the Hispanic and Latino population is one that is fast growing in the United States, this racial/ethnic minority population is one that faces social barriers and disparities. Social disparities, lack of resources, and bias to equitable resources are the contributing factors that hinder these communities’ ability to thrive. In hopes of combating these barriers, the detailed project is intended to meet the need for a Spanish RTL book so that LatinX communities can meet their full potential and strengthen leadership capacities through the application of a values-based approach. This framework is applicable to communities, organizations, and individuals that wish to take on initiatives for systems and community change. Without giving communities the necessary tools to create equitable outcomes of success, socioeconomic disparities and social inequality will deepen as a result of community inaction. In not making the framework accessible, LatinX communities will be less equipped to tackle social barriers. Assessment of this project and measures of evaluation will be discussed.
