Abstract
This capstone project was the establishment of a Domestic Violence Victim Waiting Room for the District Attorney's Office. The Domestic Violence Victim Waiting Room is envisioned as a safe place apart from offenders and other people who might threaten or cause the victims to recall their testimony. In addition, it is envisioned to reduce the stress and frustration of the victims while waiting for their case to be called. The goal of this project is to provide a safe and comfortable place for the victims of domestic violence and their families. Additionally, we want to have zero tolerance for domestic violence in our community and at the courthouse.
