Abstract

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Association was facing a challenge in which clients were calling for transportation requests to Stanford's Lucile Packard or UCSF. JH was having difficulty meeting the needs of these families. With a purpose in mind JH developed the Emergency Transportation Program, with the collaboration of Partnership for children, another agency serving children with life threatening illnesses. Together these two agencies were able to establish a system for families to utilize.
