Abstract

The purpose of this project was to develop an inclusion manual, which clearly outlines the processes necessary for developing a successful inclusion model program. This manual was intended for parents, community members, educators and administrators. The manual was submitted for review to professionals in the field of education from around the world. The content of the inclusion manual was determined through extensive literature review of empirical and practical journal articles. Data regarding the format and content of this manual were collected from experts in various areas of special education e.g. autism, mental retardation, learning disabilities. The results validated the efficacy of the manual. After reviews the experts' responses were used to improve the final manual.
