Description
Comprised mainly of newspaper clippings relating to highway beautification efforts across the country, particularly in regard to the removal and regulation of billboards. After losing his state senate re-election bid, Fred Farr served as Highway Beautification Coordinator under the Johnson Administration, overseeing initiatives aimed at improving scenic beauty on the nation's highways. Clippings date from May 16, 1967, to March 12, 1968.
